Three things I'd tell a friend booking this exact trip.

Right for you if you want the trip to start the moment you board, with no rental car and no daily plan. These are useful whether you ever book anything with me or not — that's rather the point.

Book the excursions yourself.

The ship's desk marks up the same catamaran 40–60%. Search the port name plus “shore excursion” and book direct — same boat, same pier, less money.

Pick the cabin by motion, not by deck plan.
